Now Read This was originally developed by Geoffrey Falkenmire in his early teaching career in the mid 1950's.
Geoffrey headed the Adult Literacy Service and Adult Migrant Education in New South Wales, Australia in the 1970s where this Program was used in classes and on worksites.

Jon Falkenmire is a qualified art teacher who developed an interest in the production of teaching aids many years ago. He worked on the illustrations in an edition of the Now Read This books in the late 1970s. Over the first years of the new century, Jon has been translating the Program into digital visual form.
C. J. James Dip (Art) Ed.
Carmel James, also a qualified art teacher, is now working in a library and resource centre in a public school. Carmel's part in this project is the transposing of the visual files into interactive movies and the linking them into a complete Program with student tracking software.
