About Lesson 4 - Activity 2
Lesson 4 contains 20 activities that focus on the second vowel: 'o'.
This movie is the second activity of lesson 4. It animates single syllable phonic words that contain the letter o.
As each word is displayed, it is sounded so that the viewer can get used
to how it looks and sounds.
It can also be used without the sound for testing purposes.
This activity can be used by a single person, or projected onto a screen
for a whole class to view.
There are a set of 14 syllables across the top of the page. When clicked
on, the movie goes to words that contain that syllable. This interactivity
allows the user to control the movie.
PRINTABLE FLASH CARDS
The printable flash cards are designed to be printed onto thick paper or cardboard, and then cut into small pieces with one word on each card. Use these as an additional activity to reinforce the student's learning.
If you make two sets of cards, the students can play many games with them. This is a fun way to finish off a lesson.
