About Lesson 4 - Activity 3
Lesson 4 contains 20 activities that focus on the second vowel: 'o'.
This movie is the third activity of lesson 4. It animates single syllable phonic words that contain the letter o. They are mostly the same words that were used in activity 2. The same set of 14 syllables are across the top of the page.
The words are displayed in lists. Each column has words with the same syllalble. The movie will display one word at a time, but clicking on a column heading will bring up all the words in that list. Clicking on any word will allow users to hear that word. At any time the active word is in the large text box at the top of the page. The lists allows students to compare similar words, and at the same time, see exactly how they differ. Sound files are attached to each word.
This activity can be used by a single person, or projected in a room for a whole class to view.
